Mary Anne has been a board member for thirteen years at Community Partners of Dallas. She currently lives in Birmingham, Alabama. Mary Anne has one daughter, Annie, who graduated from Highland Park High School and the University of Alabama. She began her banking career in 1979 at Preston State Bank, moved in 1984 to Bank of Texas where she remained for twenty-eight years and has been at Benchmark Bank for the last nine years. She made a brief stop in Austin only to find she was homesick for the Park Cities. Her lending experience at Benchmark Bank allowed her to gain knowledge not only in financing, but in appraisals, title work (Benchmark Title), area builders, and of real estate agents throughout the Park Cities and Preston Hollow.Ī graduate of Highland Park High School, Mary Anne attended the University of Arkansas before returning home to Texas. She has bought and sold seven homes in Highland Park and University Park in the last thirty years.
Working with clients on building or renovating their dream homes led Mary Anne to an interest in residential real estate. Her most recent focus was on residential construction lending.
